Fireactiv thermal support technology products at For Sport Recovery. Fireactiv joint and muscle supports are a safe and easy-to-use alternative to medications for back pain, joint pain, sprains, stiff muscles and tendonitis.

What is fireactiv?

Fireactiv presents a new, revolutionary range of products offering secure joint and muscle support combined with intense thermal pain relief and deep tissue therapy. No batteries, wires or microwaving required to generate the infinitely re-useable deep heat infrared therapy.

Fireactiv joint and muscle supports are a safe and easy alternative to medications for back pain, joint pain, sprains, stiff muscles, injuries to deep tissue, arthritis pain, Reynaud’s disease, rheumatism and tendinitis.

Products for targeted pain relief

Fireactiv requires no batteries, wires or microwaving to deliver infinitely re-usable heat. The supports may also be used without the heat pads as an adjustable compression support.

How it works

During the manufacture of our supports, special bio-ceramic heat reflective particles are fused into the fibres of the interchangeable pads. When placed against the skin, these ceramic particles radiate deep heat back into the body.

This reflected heat is known as long wave infrared radiation.
Long wave radiation dilates blood vessels, increases blood and oxygen circulation which speeds up the healing process for any injuries present.

Far infrared (FIR) explained.

The human body emits heat via invisible infrared rays and this heat is reflected by the bio-ceramic material fused into Fireactiv heat pads in the form of far infrared (FIR).

If we’re hotter through physical exertion or exercise we emit more heat and the reflected body heat speeds up and intensifies Fireactiv heating. If we’re emitting little body heat then the Fireactiv effect is much slower and less intense.

Far Infrared (FIR) travels in straight lines and is easily absorbed by the human body through a process known as ‘resonance absorption’.

Upon entering the human body FIR energy sets up a ‘vibration’ which causes a warming effect by activating molecules and body cells. Vibration = Friction = Heat. Heat is spread outwards by conduction in bones and convection in tissue fluids.

FIR reaches as far as 4-7 cm into muscle tissue and not just on the surface.
The growing warmth dilates blood vessels & fine capillaries. This improves circulation and facilitates removal of impurities and the influx of nutrients.

It also improves the body’s ability to remove waste, such as dormant cells and lactic acid, from muscle fibres, significantly improving your ability to recover after injury.

Best of all, FIR energy provides fast, effective pain relief to sore muscles and joints.

How and when to use Fireactiv thermal supports

During sport

Fireactiv supports may be worn during light sporting activity such as golf, bowls, and hiking.

Joint and limb pain relief

Wear Fireactiv thermal supports for pain relief rather than taking oral pain killers (paracetamol, aspirin, ibuprofen etc.).

Use Fireactiv thermal supports instead of temporary heating pads or applying topical heating creams. Fireactiv offers a safe, drug free, clean, convenient, non-invasive and ultimately low-cost form of pain relief. Use the red heat pad for faster, intense and deep heat. Use the white pad for less intense heat and longer term use.

Warm Up with Fireactiv

Effective warm up prior to physical exertion is essential in the prevention of injury and as part of the mental preparation process. As part of the warm up program, use Fireactiv supports with the intense (red) heat pad to help improve circulation, elasticity and condition the joints and muscles before use.

Soothe tired and aching muscles.

Maintain circulation to the muscles post physical activity by wearing deep heating Fireactiv supports. Fireactiv helps tired and aching muscles to increase blood flow and provide soothing relief from pain.

Far infrared heat is also said to reduce the build-up of lactic acid which aids recovery from exercise and sport reducing stiffness in muscles and aches and pains. Use the white heat pad with less intense heat for this phase.
Aches, pains, strains and sprains.

Fireactiv thermal support series provide variable support and compression plus the soothing deep heat. Healing time following injury may be improved due to the increased circulation achieved by using Fireactiv thermal supports.

Fireactiv for Arthritis.

Fireactiv supports can be incorporated into the daily routine of pain sufferers and is an ideal complementary therapy to other arthritis treatments. Unlike many other therapies, all products in the Fireactiv range can be used on a continuous basis.

The intense deep heat (red) pad delivers fast pain relief. The milder (white) heat pad provides wearable heat for all- day pain relief.

Who needs Fireactiv?

Anyone who has aches, pains or injuries and / or the desire to stay active is a potential customer for Fireactiv products. This typically includes sports and general lifestyle injuries from an early age going all the way through life to provide support and improved flexibility as we get older.

Health experts say that older adults should be active every day to maintain their health. This can often be difficult due to aches, pains and stiffness.

Being active is an important part of a healthy lifestyle for people of all ages. But as you get older, your muscles get weaker, you tend to get more aches and pains, and you become more prone to falls and injuries. This may mean you feel less inclined to exercise but it’s important to stay active to maintain your health and independence as you get older.’ Source:

fireactiv red white thermal padsHeat pad options

Red pad

The concentration of the special bio- ceramic heat reflective particles deliver intense deep heat for fast pain relief. Depending on individual preferences and tolerance, the deep heat pad is typically suitable for shorter periods of time.

White pad

With a lower concentration of the bio-ceramic particles the white pad offers a more subtle heat and is more suitable to be worn for extended periods of time during sport or other therapeutic activity.

Product range

The Fireactiv range includes supports for the Neck, Elbow, Wrist, Shoulder, Back, Knee and Ankle.
